Mina Blažev
Mina Blazhev was born in 2003 in Skopje. Her parents say that Mina first started singing before she could even speak. Despite only being 14, Mina has very a wide range of experience of performing. Her biggest achievement was winning the special Pearl Award at the Ezerski Biseri international music festival earlier this year. Mina was also part of a talent show called Pink Stars which is very popular in the Balkan region. To date, she has received a total of seven first prizes, three second and one third prize in national and international competitions. She’s currently attending singing classes at the Zvezdicki Music Academy.Besides performing, being on stage and loving music, Mina is fond of dancing, she loves travelling, meeting different people, visiting countries and experiencing different cultures. Her inspiration comes from her family, friends and nature but the biggest inspiration for her music comes from her idols Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber.
In September Mina won the Macedonian national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017, receiving the highest score from the jury. Mina to represent her country she’s aiming for an excellent performance that will make her country proud. Mina also expects to make lifetime friendships with the other contestants at the Junior Eurovision and she is sure that they will all enjoy the experience in Georgia.
About the song writers and composers
Aleksandar Masevski has a wealth of experience working as a composer, writer and producer. In 1990 he began working in Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands and won several publishing contracts with BMG and Sony. In 1999 he established his own music production company named Massive Sky Productions and in 2004 established Massive Sky Music in Skopje. In 2004 he produced and arranged the song Life, which was the Macedonian entry for the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest performed by Toše Proeski. Aleksandar was also a backing vocalist at the contest which took place in Istanbul, Turkey. In 2009 he wrote and produced the Macedonian entry for Junior Eurovision with singer Sara Markoska. He continues to be active and successful in the Macedonian music scene working with both established and new artists. Last year he wrote and produced the Macedonian entry for the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Love Will Lead The Way, performed by Martija Stanojkovic.
