North Macedonia's Lara, Irina, and Jovan are bringing us friendship and fun!
07 December 2022 at 15:00 CETLara and Irina first met in 2018 as cast members in a musical production in Skopje, where they became fast friends. As they started working on their song for Junior Eurovision, the pair and their team realized that they wanted a little extra something special added to the mix…and then they found Jovan! He comes to the table with loads of experience in music and hip-hop dance, including championships from competitions all over the Balkan region. The three clicked both musically and personally, and now they’re lighting up Yerevan with their upbeat pop track Životot E Pred Mene.
‘We have spent the last few months really practicing all the time, so our friendship has really come together, and I think we’re spreading that positive energy on stage as well.’
When asked about their friendship, Lara and Irina both love how professional Jovan is, Irina and Jovan love how friendly and honest Lara is, and Jovan and Lara both agree that Irina makes them laugh, but is also a truly reliable person! That sense of camaraderie and trust shines through as they take the stage.

Their song is all about how today’s youth have a world of opportunity in front of them, and so staying independent and self-reliant can be their key to success. It was produced by Darko Dimitrov, who fans might recognize as the songwriter or producer for a dozen songs at Eurovision since 2006, as well as Junior Eurovision songs from 2011 and 2018. The best advice that the trio say they’ve gotten from him is probably the simplest: enjoy this experience, keep smiling, and make beautiful memories!
If Lara, Irina, and Jovan's song makes you smile, be sure to vote for North Macedonia at Junior Eurovision 2022!
