Ana and Aleksej will head to Madrid for North Macedonia
27 June 2024 at 10:55 CESTAfter an audition phase was held by broadcaster MRT, two performers - Ana Vanchevska and Aleksej Ivanovski - have been selected to represent North Macedonia at the 22nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Ana and Aleksej will be performing on stage at the Caja Mágica in Madrid, when the 2024 edition of the Contest takes place in Spain on 16 November.
The two performers come from Bitola, a city in the southwestern part of North Macedonia.
Ana was born in March 2010, and has participated in numerous music festivals, while also excelling in her favourite subjects at school; mathematics, physics and French.
Aleksej was born in December 2011 and has already made a name for himself performing in music competitions. The singer shares Ana's enthusiasm for mathematics and French, and is also a keen learner of English, too.
At the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, North Macedonia was represented by Tamara Grujeska and her song Kaži Mi, Kaži Mi Koj.
