Marija Spasovska
Marija Spasovska will represent F.Y.R. Macedonia at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk with the song 'Doma'.Music is her life, says Marija Spasovska. The 13-year-old was born in Skopje and currently attends primary school. She is also enrolled in an elementary music school where she plays the violin and piano.
Marija sang her first song Moeto Kukle at a music festival in Skopje when she was only 4 years old. She has released a CD with 7 children’s songs which she sang at different festivals. She performed her first teenage song Igraj so srce at the age of 12, and released her YouTube Channel where she also sings other pop songs.
In August 2018, Marija won Macedonia's national selection for Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018, receiving the highest score from the jury. Marija was very excited to be selected as this year's JESC representative and she's eager to present her country and herself the best she can. She's aiming for an excellent performance that will make her country proud. She wants to meet new friends, have wonderful moments in Minsk and have fun with the other contestants. Marija feels this is a lifetime opportunity and great challenge at the same time.
Marija wants to travel and explore new places. She says: “Music moves me, I live with the music, she is my inspiration to my view of the world.” Her greatest inspiration comes from the angel Tose Proeski, she likes Kaliopi and the other music stars like Beyonce, Adele and Shakira.
Her message to her fans is: “The most wonderful fairytale becomes true if you love it with all your heart and soul. I will tell my fairytale through my song at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. My dream to represent my country already came true. Let’s enjoy these wonderful Eurovision moments. In front of us is a great spectacle and days filled with music and entertainment."
