Kisses
The girl group Kisses will represent the Netherlands in the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song Kisses & Dancin'.KISSES is a Dutch girl band with three girls: Stefania, Kymora and Sterre. Together they will perform their song Kisses & Dancin’, an upbeat song about making everyone around the world happy through their music.
Twelve-year-old Kymora grew up speaking two languages, German and Dutch, because her mother is German. Besides singing and dancing, she loves to play the guitar and the piano. Her dream is to sing with Beyoncé or to become a famous actress, singer, dancer or all the above. To accomplish this dream she goes to a special high school in Amsterdam where she follows various art classes. She has acted in two professional musicals: Amandla Mandela and Waanzinnig Gedroomd.
Stefania is a thirteen-year-old Greek girl who is born in The Netherlands, she also grew up speaking two languages. Before she auditioned for the Dutch Junior Song Contest, she competed in The Voice Kids and she sang in a famous Dutch children’s choir with her band member Sterre. They performed twice for the Royal Family as part of this choir. Her favourite artists are Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande but she likes other music styles as well. A funny fact about Stefania is that her favourite food is octopus.
Sterre is thirteen years old and has a lot of TV experience: as a singer and as an actress in commercials. Sterre is part of JEANS TeenZ, a group of talented teens who perform in theatre. On the weekends she goes to Amsterdam to take professional singing and dancing classes. She also loves to play the guitar, vlog, read, take photos, or hang out with her friends. She’s not sure what she wants to be when she grows up, but as long as it has something to do with music, she’ll be happy.
The three girls are really looking forward to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, especially to meeting the other participants. The girls are very popular in the Netherlands. They have been making videos and vlogs twice a week for the Juniorsongfestival.NL YouTube channel, ever since they became a pop group. About the composers
Producers House are responsible for the Dutch Junior Eurovision entry for the third time. Together the three Producers Joost Griffioen, Stas Swaczyna and Hansen Tomas created a magical sound which is very much loved by the audience. For this years contest they specially created a song which totally fits the 3 Kisses girls.
