The Junior Eurovision Song Contest began in 2003 and featured 16 countries, of which Belarus was one of them. Since then Belarus has participated in every since Junior Eurovision!

In the very first Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Belarus finished fourth. The country has won twice, in 2005 and 2007 and finished in the top five a total of eight times! In fact Belarus has only been out of the top ten on one occasion. Check out our montage below of the entries from Belarus over the years.

Belarus hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in the capital Minsk in 2010. The show was held in the brand new Minsk Arena and included appearances from previous Junior Eurovision winners.

In the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest Alexander Minyonok finished seventh with his song Musyka moih pobed (Music is my only way).
