Ela
Ela will represent Malta at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk with the song 'Marchin’On'.Ela Mangion was born on the 6th of January of 2006 and has been singing since 2012. Ela first participated in the national final of Junior Eurovision in Malta 2 years ago. She has already represented Malta in more than 5 international competitions including ‘New Wave Junior’ in Russia back in 2016, where she came second.
Last year, Ela had the opportunity to represent Malta in the Italian programme Next Generation, aired on Sky Italia. After qualifying for the finals, she managed to win the mini section with ease and was crowned the title Mini Next Generation.
She also participated in the ‘Euro Pop Contest’ in Berlin last November, which she won. Ela was crowned the Grand Prix winner out of seventy singers, whose ages varied from 10 to 26. It was a massive win for the young star where she became the first Maltese winner of this prestigious contest.
Currently, Ela is taking piano lessons and is busy composing music. She would love to continue with her academic studies, but also dreams of working on her musical studies abroad.
