A day in the life of: Chanel Monseigneur
25 November 2020 at 12:00 CETChanel Monseigneur won the Maltese national selection for Junior Eurovision 2020 and will go on to represent Malta on Sunday with the song Chasing Sunsets. In her biography, Chanel is described as a busy girl who is always singing, improvising, playing the piano, writing songs and reading. As you can see in this edition of 'A day in the life of', she is a busy girl indeed!
Chanel's day starts with cooking breakfast. We love the little pan she uses for cooking pancakes. Also: pancakes for breakfast? What's not to love?
Chanel's little brother joins her for breakfast too. Enjoy!
After breakfast, it's time for school. Like many other kids in Europe at the moment, Chanel follows her classes online.
Then, there are even more classes! After her online sessions are finished, Chanel starts her piano lesson. We wonder what piece would she is playing here?
Next up: you guessed it! Even more lessons. This time it's singing lessons. Like all the other participants in Junior Eurovision, Chanel is getting ready for her performance.
Mummy and daughter time! After a busy day of school and taking piano and singing lessons, Chanel finds the time to hang out with her family. Here is Chanel with her Mom.
And here is Chanel with her little brother! They look very much alike don't you think?
Singing, playing the piano, going to school, practicing ballet; is there anything Chanel can't do? She described this picture as 'fooling around' but we think it's rather impressive!
After time with her mother and brother, Chanel spends some quality time with her father!
But, Chanel's day isn't over yet! Here you can see her practicing Chasing Sunsets, which you can see this Sunday at 17:00 CET. Don't forget to tune in via junioreurovision.tv!
And finally, time with the grandparents! They must be very proud!
What a jam-packed day full of learning, playing and time spent with family. We look forward to seeing Chanel perform for her country this weekend!
