Nearly three weeks ago, France's Angélina became runner-up in the 16th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. We look back on her week in Belarus; from the first, second and dress rehearsals to performing her song 'Jamais Sans Toi' on stage in the Minsk Arena.

In a flash

Follow Angélina's Junior Eurovision journey in 2 minutes, from start to finish:

Opening Ceremony

During the live event, all participants walked the red carpet and were introduced to the audience. We asked Angélina if she could tell a fun fact about herself in the 'Question Hat' video.

First rehearsal

After an exciting night at the Opening Ceremony, Angélina took the stage to rehearse Jamais Sans Toi. Read all about it HERE.

Guess the language

Until the live show takes place, the participants rehearse their song about eight times on stage. In the meantime we invited them to our studio to do some fun challenges! We asked Angélina to guess the language of former Junior Eurovision performances:

The live show

After a week of rehearsals and recording fun videos with us, Angélina took the stage to perform her song Jamais Sans Toi.

Angélina became this year's runner-up and received 203 points. Poland's Roksana Wegiel took home the trophy with 215 points for her song Anyone I Want To Be. After the live show, we caught up with a proud number two.

Angélina shared a picture on her own Instagram account, which shows her pride after the show.

This was Angélina's Junior Eurovision journey in Minsk! Next week, we look back on the week of Jael, Australia's representative.
