Lissandro will represent France with his song ‘Oh Maman!’ at Junior Eurovision in Yerevan this year.

The song is available to stream now, and France Télévisions have produced a handy lyric video for the official Junior Eurovision YouTube channel.

Lissandro is 13 years old and from the small village of Moselle in the East of France. He sings in 5 languages, is a professional cartoon dubber, and has a love of all things rock and pop, from Elvis Presley, to the American crooners, through to Bruno Mars.

Being on stage is the best way for this jack of all trades to share his passion for singing, and he describes Junior Eurovision as the ‘adventure of a lifetime’:

‘I am very proud and honoured to represent France with my song, from both the pop and rock universe at the same time that I have always loved!

And what a pride to be part of the wonderful Eurovision family. I will give my best to make France's colours shine.’

Alexandra Redde-Amiel, head of the French delegation to Eurovision and director of variety, games and entertainment at France Télévisions:

‘We are happy to welcome Lissandro in the big family of the Junior Eurovision. A young artist full of talent to defend the colours of France in Armenia.’

Lissandro has big boots to fill after Valentina's victory in 2020 and the organisation of the contest in France in 2021, and the 3rd place obtained by Enzo last year.
