France is the most recent winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Valentina won the 18th edition of the show with her song J'imagine.

Thomas Pontier was the first artist to perform for France when he sang the song Si On Voulait Bien and came sixth in 2004. After this, the country took a big break from participating until they came back in 2018. Angélina travelled to Minsk, Belarus and almost took the trophy home with her upbeat song Jamais Sans Toi. In 2019, France was represented by Carla, who came fifth with her song Bim Bam Toi which became a big hit on TikTok after the show. In 2020 France won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the first time! Valentina sang 'J'imagine' and got the most points from both the Juries and the Online Vote.
