Following Lissandro’s victory at Junior Eurovision 2022 in Yerevan with the song 'Oh Maman!' – France’s second win in three years - France Télévisions will organise the 21st Junior Eurovision Song Contest at the Palais Nikaïa in Nice.

Estonia will be making their debut in the competition this year, while Germany are returning after one year away making this the first Junior Eurovision where all of the so-called ‘Big 5’ (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom) are competing together.
Heroes
France Télévisions have chosen 'Heroes' as the theme for the event. More than a slogan, it was decided to use a word that inspires and gives children incredible strength and will feature throughout the event.
The accompanying artwork captures the energy of the word ‘Heroes’, with powerful, joyful colours and a ‘street art’ look that brings modernity and speaks to all generations.
