Sweden has taken part 11 times in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest between 2003 and 2014. They were one of the original participants in Copenhagen in 2003.

Sweden achieved their best result in 2006 when Molly Sandén place 3rd with Det Finaste Någon Kan Få. Her sisters Frida and Mimmi followed in her footsteps in 2007 and 2009 placing 8th and 6th respectively.
