Viola Gjyzeli
Born in Italy to Albanian parents, Viola first showed her love for performing at the age of 7 when she participated in, and won, a children’s song contest in her hometown of Durrës.That first trophy was just the beginning of the young singer’s journey, as over the next few years she continued to work towards her dream of becoming a professional singer.
In her spare time, Viola enjoys playing sports like basketball and ping-pong, as well as spending time with her 6 dogs (Zago, Era, Tomi, Zara, Boi, and Bora) and pet cow (Dotty).
The words to Bota Ime were written by Eriona Rushiti, the talented lyricist behind Albanian Eurovision Song Contest entries Ktheju Tokës (Tel Aviv 2019) and Duje (Liverpool 2023).
