Ukraine has announced exciting plans for a show to select their participant for Junior Eurovision in Paris on Sunday 19 December.

Twelve finalists have been chosen to compete in a live televised national selection show on UA: KULTURA on Saturday 23 October.
The overall winner (decided by a mixture of professional jury scores and televotes) will jet off to Paris to fly the yellow and blue flag of Ukraine.
The lucky dozen are:
Anastasiia Doroshenko (Nana Do) – Svit nadliudei (The World of Super People)
Arsenii Hryshchenko – Redemption
Karina Kornuta – Song TBC
Daryna Kryvenko – Kosy khmarochosy (Skyscraping Braids)
Angelina McFarlane (RREALINA) – Angel of Light
Veronika Morska – Song TBC
Yelyzaveta Petruk – Song TBC
Daria Rebrova – Make Me Happy
Sofiia Skvaruk – Golden Time
Mariia Tkachuk – Pazly svitu (Puzzles of the World)
Olena Usenko (Ellen Usenko) – Vazhil (Leverage)
Daryna Zinchenko – Song TBC
Eight of the participants have qualified with original material, the other 4 will be assigned a new song shortly.
Clips of the songs and performances (including a great version of SHUM by 10 year old Veronika Morska) are available to watch on the official Ukraine Junior Eurovision Instagram account.
