Oleksandr Balabanov
Out of 11 shortlisted participants, Oleksandr Balabanov was selected to represent Ukraine at the 18th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. He took part in Ukraine's national selection in 2018 and 2019 as well, with the songs 'We Are The Children Of The Earth' and 'Power In You'.

'But you are the argonaut who has found his fleece!' There is a deep meaning in these words. An argonaut is a hero of ancient Greek mythology who came a long way in search of the desired golden fleece.

How and when did you start with music?
I started playing music at the age of 4, attending a children's folk singing group. At the age of 8 I began to practice pop vocals and entered an art school at the Faculty of Music.

How would you celebrate a Junior Eurovision victory?
I would be incredibly happy! Yes, I would be the happiest person in the world at that time!
How do you 'Move The World?'
I try to motivate people with my music. I also participate in World Cleanup Day and support the environmental movement. Even the smallest deeds can help our world become a better place.
