Ukraine has begun the search for a Junior Eurovision Song Contest representative!
Anyone interested can apply via the broadcaster's website, provided they fit the eligibility criteria:
Age 9 - 14 (at time of Junior Eurovision)
Solo artists and bands can apply
Must have an original song between 2:30 mins and 3:30 mins in duration
Song must not have been released prior to 1 May 2022
At least 60% of the lyrics must be in Ukrainian
Up to ten finalists will be selected to compete in an online national final which will be held online.
The winner will represent Ukraine in Yerevan at the 20th Junior Eurovision Song Contest, following in the footsteps of their 2021 participant Olena Usenko.
