Darina Krasnovetska will represent Ukraine at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk with the song 'Say Love'.
Darina Krasnovetska was born on May 7, 2007, in the picturesque city of Vinnytsia, Ukraine. The active, cheerful and curious girl has been showing her leadership skills since childhood. She was even jokingly called ‘group director’ in kindergarten. That was also the time when the kindergarten teacher noticed Darina’s vocal talent and recommended that she take singing classes. Since the age of 6, not a day has passed without her singing. Darina has some substantial achievements during the 5 years she has been taking singing classes. She participated in the fourth season of the vocal talent show The Voice Kids and became the online voting winner in 2015. At Oleksandr Ponomariov’s personal invitation, one of Ukraine’s most popular singers who also represented this country back in 2003, Darina took part in his tour around Ukraine. She was also the super finalist of Ukraine’s first children show business prize Bashka Kids Awards and the winner of Ukraine’s national chart Top 100 Kids.
Darina regularly participates in Ukrainian and international contests, festivals and charity events. She plays the piano, goes for contemporary dances, loves painting, reading and filming music videos. Darina adores animals and dreams of building a big shelter for homeless animals in the future.
Darina’s biggest dream is to become a world-known singer. She believes that the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be a major step towards this cherished dream.
