Zena Donnelly to represent Ireland!

Zena beat 32 acts to become Ireland's second ever Junior Eurovision participant and was selected by an expert panel consisting of previous Irish representatives in the Eurovision Song Contest. The list included:

  • Jedward (2011, 2012)
  • Niamh Kavanagh (1993, 2010)
  • Linda Martin (1984, 1992)
  • Dustin The Turkey (2008)
  • Sadie Jones (1972)

Last year Zena finished second in the Irish national selection for Junior Eurovision when Aimee Banks won the right to represent Ireland in the 2015 edition of the competition which was held in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Zena's song for Junior Eurovision 2016 is called Bríce Ar Bhríce which translates as Brick by Brick. Zena wrote and composed the song herself. Check out the video for her entry below!
