Jessica McKean will represent Ireland at Junior Eurovision 2023 TG4
Ireland's Jessica McKean has released her music video for 'Aisling', completing the lineup of songs for the 21st Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

The music video features a cameo from Sophie Lennon, who represented Ireland in Yerevan last year and also co-wrote the lyrics of Aisling.

Aged 10, Jessica from Lifford in County Donegal is the youngest Irish representative to date - but the young performer is no stranger to the stage having won her first Feis (traditional Irish dancing) competition at only three years old and also taking part on the RTÉ show Donncha's Two Talented at just five years old with her mum.

Her favourite artists are Nathan Carter, Adele and Whitney Houston, and Jessica said she wants to make her country, and everyone around her, proud.

In 2022, Sophie Lennon came 4th at the contest in Yerevan, with her song Solas - this was the best result for Ireland in either Junior Eurovision or the Eurovision Song Contest for 25 years. Can Ireland top that this year?

Junior Eurovision 2023 took place in Nice, France on Sunday 26 November and was won by Zoé Clauzure from France! You can rewatch it live via the official Junior Eurovision YouTube channel (if available in your country).
