The National Television Company of Ukraine, NTU, has today officially announced the start of its national selection process for Junior Eurovision 2015! From today until the 24 July, anyone interested in representing Ukraine in Sofia can send their applications to the broadcaster. Applicants must be aged 10-15 as per the rules of the competition.
From there, a semifinal will be held at NTU's studios on 25 July with a jury selecting the best entries for the national final. The date and details of this final show will be announced in due course.
Ukraine debuted in Junior Eurovision back in 2006, and has taken part in every year since - hosting the event in 2009 and 2013. The latter came after Anastasiya Petryk, aged 10 at the time, won the competition for Ukraine in 2012.
