The 9-year-old Spanish representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 really shows her personality in her music video which highlights some of the most popular locations in Spain.

Soleá and her hometown Sevilla are the main protagonists in the video that aims to encourage us all in the face of the crisis caused by the coronavirus. The video was recorded in places that represent Spain, its nature and the dance culture. Using The Torre del Oro, Plaza de España and Parque de María Luisa as backdrops, Soleá hopes to convey a feeling of happiness, optimism and a 'never give up' attitude.

The urban-pop sound of her song play over the images of Soleá traveling through some of the places that have seen her grow up. It features the Triana neighborhood, which speak of her upbringing, her family and the unique art of her country. "It means a lot to me to record in my city because I want people to see where I grew up and my roots," she said.

Other sections of the video show choreographed dance scenes of her and 4 other dancers in Madrid and the scenes in the Plaza de España show us that flamenco and art run through her veins. She also makes her way through the vegetation and gardens of the María Luisa Park to highlight the importance of nature in all our lives. Of her experience creating the video, she said: “The video clip shooting has been a lot of fun... I have had a great time."

Her parents have also taken part in helping the video come to life. They have been accompanying her to the recordings and have been enjoying this adventure with the same level of enthusiasm as her. “My father and mother have helped me to follow the rhythm and with the dance steps in some moments, and also to catch the tone of the song, for example."

Soleá has been satisfied with the public's reaction to the sneak-peak release of her song. "They have told me ...that we are going to win!" Palante is composed by César G. Ross, ASHA and Bruno Valverde. Bruno, who also produced the song, had previously won a Grammy award for the song La Mordidita by Ricky Martin back in 2015.

RTVE Digital will exclusively premier the full version of the song and the music video for Palante on Wednesday, 7 October in the lead up to Soleá's participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest on 29 November.
