Sofiia Rol to represent Ukraine in 2016

The winning entry in Ukraine was selected by a combination of jury and public votes.

Ukraine made its debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and has participated every year since.

Ukraine won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 and hosted the event in both 2009 and 2013. The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, in May.
