Mariana Venâncio for Portugal!

Mariana Venâncio has won the Portuguese national selection for the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Her song for Tbilisi is called Youtuber. This is the first time that Portugal will participate in Junior Eurovision since 2007!

In total five acts fought for the right to represent Portugal at Junior Eurovision this year. After an initial tie, Mariana won the national selection after receiving the most votes from the public. 

2017 marks the third time at Portugal has competed in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Portugal is enjoying a run of success in the Eurovision Family of Events since earlier this year Salvador Sobral won the Eurovision Song Contest Amar Pelos Dois.
