Mariam Mamadashvili will sing for Georgia in 2016

A professional jury selected Mariam Mamadashvili as Georgia's representative for Junior Eurovision this year following an open competition for young artists. 

Members of the jury

  • Rusudan Bakhtadze (Vocal Coach)
  • Nato Dumbadze (Producer)
  • Zaza Orashvili (Director)
  • Nika Kocharov (Singer, and 2016 Eurovision Song Contest participant)
  • Lizi Pop (Singer and 2014 Junior Eurovision participant).

Composer Giorgi Kukhianidze will work on entry together with Mariam and the song will be announced in the coming weeks.

Georgia has won Junior Eurovision twice, in 2008 and in 2011.
