Chloe DelaRosa will represent Host Country Spain at Junior Eurovision
18 July 2024 at 11:47 CESTSpain has revealed the singer that will represent the Host Country when the 22nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest comes to Madrid's Caja Mágica on Saturday 16 November.
Chloe DelaRosa will follow in the footsteps of Sandra Valero, whose Loviu gave Spain a 2nd-place result at Junior Eurovision 2023 in Nice.
Who is Chloe DelaRosa?
Chloe describes herself as a 'cantista', which is a combination of the words singer and artist in Spanish ('cantante' and 'artista'). She began performing at the age of three, but it wasn't until lockdown in 2020 that she started recording.
On social media, she recorded covers of songs by well-known Spanish and Latin American artists, such as Alejandro Sanz, C. Tangana, Dani Martín, Camilo, Carlos Vives and Marc Anthony; videos that many of them would share on their own social media, and which would go on to become viral, introducing Chloe to audiences all over the world.
Since then, Chloe has released several songs and music videos of her own, and she has gotten to perform on stage at popular festivals, with hit Spanish artists like Remedios Amaya, Andy & Lucas and La Húngara.
