A day in the life of: Karakat Bashanova

Karakat is 12 years old and comes from the Ryskulov village of the Almaty region. She takes everything to heart, considers herself fragile and sensitive, but friendly, peaceful and delicate at the same time. Keep reading to find out more!

"Good morning world! It's time to get out of bed and get ready for school," the singer said.

Karakat goes to a boarding school named after the famous Kazakh opera singer Kulyash Baiseitova. Here, she plays the piano.

After school there is even more music practice! Not only does she learn to play the piano, the multi-talented artist also studies the violin!

Besides spending time playing music, she also loves to go outside and get some fresh air. It looks quite chilly, but luckily she has a big winter coat on so she doesn't get too cold!

After a long day of school and music practice, it's time for some well-deserved rest. Here, she's wearing a sweater that says 'Mr. Cool', but we think Karakat is really the cool one!
