Misha
Misha is nine years old and started his musical career at the age of four when he met his future producer, founder and director of the famous music group Voices of Artsakh, Lira Kocharyan. For several years, Misha has been an active member of the group and has participated in numerous international music competitions, returning home with prestigious prizes.Misha enjoys listening to music, reading and watching cartoons. He loves playing the violin, the piano and the drums. He dreams of performing with Robertino Loretti, Stevie Wonder and Bruno Mars. Misha has already covered songs by Michael Jackson, Sting and James Brown as well as Lonely Day by System of a Down. Misha’s cover version was praised by the group’s lead vocalist Serj Tankian and was shared via his social media channels.
Last year, Misha represented Armenia at the New Wave Junior competition where he ended up as the runner up. In May 2017 Misha appeared at the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity award ceremony where he appeared alongside other Armenian stars.
About the song writers and composers
Vahram Petrosyan is a composer, pianist and producer, born in 1979 in Armenia. He graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatory in 2009 he completed a PhD as a pianist. Vahram is the author of more than 150 songs, musicals and soundtracks. He wrote Armenia’s winning song at Junior Eurovision in 2010, Mama, performed by Vladimir Arzumanyan.
Avet Barseghyan was born in 1980 in Yerevan. He is a famous Armenian songwriter and TV host as well as an honorary artist of Armenia. Avet is the author of many hit songs performed by famous Armenian pop stars all over the world. He has also authored several Armenian entries at the Eurovision song Contest including Jan-Jan performed by Inga and Anush in 2009. In collaboration with David Tserunyan he also wrote Love, performed by Mika at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
David Tserunyan was born in 1995 in Yerevan. Over the past couple of years David has written lyrics for multiple songs including Artsvik’s Fly With Me which was Armenia’s entry for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. David has been the Head of Press for the Armenian delegation at Eurovision for the last four years.
Arthur Aghekyan has been singing and writing since his early childhood. He graduated from the State Song Theater of Armenia and came up with the with the idea of Boomerang, Misha's Junior Eurovision entry.
