Zoé Clauzure will represent France on home soil, when she performs ‘Cœur’ at Junior Eurovision in Nice on Sunday 26 November.

A semi-finalist on The Voice Kids in 2020, Zoé’s career has already been studded with successes, challenges and encounters with accomplished artists. She’s already sung with Amir (France’s Eurovision Song Contest 2016 participant) and French singer-songwriter Yseult.

The teenage pianist from Montrouge is a fan of Zaho de Sagazan, Lady Gaga and Billie Eillish, and will be representing France with her song Cœur (English translation: ‘Heart’). The track is a fun pop song full of pep, which displays the full range of Zoe’s vocals.

Cœur is about bullying, and acts as the sunny side of Ma Place, a song on the same subject Zoé released in 2020…

‘Ma Place was a dark ballad full of restrained emotion. Cœur is its opposite: a positive track, full of hope and light. Music is a way of expressing myself outside language, and I'm quite talkative, but that's not enough for me.’

An accomplished songwriter, Zoé writes down lyrics and chords on a notebook, composes with Logic Pro software, records her covers played on the piano to post on social networks, but being on stage is her passion!

‘I love performing live. Singing solo like I did at La Cigale, opening for Lou, was complicated, but I rehearsed a lot, I worked hard and I managed to speak to the audience without being impressed. The experience taught me a lot. In fact, stage fright motivates me, the adrenalin carries me.'
