From her home in Buckinghamshire, the United Kingdom’s Freya Skye has always dreamed of stardom.

Ever since she received a karaoke machine as a gift when she was five years old, music has been a major focal point in her life. While she released her first independent single, Show Some Love, in 2020 and had her song I Love the Way picked up by BBC Introducing, it was the news that she’d be representing the United Kingdom at Junior Eurovision this year that made her realize that her dreams were coming true!

With ‘Lose My Head’, Freya is singing about creating boundaries and knowing when to step back from a friendship that just isn’t healthy, even if it’s a difficult realization to make. It’s an important lesson to learn!

When she’s not singing and studying music and performance, Freya’s living the life of a normal UK thirteen-year-old. She loves supporting Tottenham Hotspur (and is keeping a keen eye on the World Cup), a nice ham and cheese toast sandwich, and her Cavapoo Ruby, who ‘doesn’t understand what personal space is’!

If you're losing your head over Freya Skye, be sure to vote for the United Kingdom at Junior Eurovision 2022!
