After an initial shortlisting process from 70 hopefuls down to just 5, Susan has won 'KiKA LIVE: Junior Eurovision Song Contest – Das Casting'. The 13-year-old singer will perform the song 'Stronger With You' as the country's first representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

During the broadcast of the national selection show, KiKA LIVE: Junior Eurovision Song Contest – Das Casting, the Berlin-based performer impressed a professional casting jury consisting of music Producer Martin Haas, Show and vocal coach Michele Huesmann, Max Mutzke, who represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 and Levent Geiger, Geiger, last year's finalist of the songwriter competition Dein Song (ZDF) who composed the German Junior Eurovision song this year.

At the announcement of her win, Susan expressed sheer joy and excitement: “Since I was little, it has always been my dream to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest. It is all the more exciting that I am now allowed to represent Germany at Junior Eurovision. I hope that I can make my country and the people who stand behind me proud.”

Next for Germany, ZDF is set to produce a 2-part documentary called Your Song for Warsaw, showcasing the exciting journey of the entry, Stronger With You, from the song's composition by Levent Geiger to the casting process and final performance.

The 18th Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held on 29 November.
