Spain: Sandra Valero reveals more details about song

RTVE has announced their participant for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Nice, later this year… meet Sandra Valero!

Update (Thursday 21 September): RTVE has revealed that the title of the song is Loviu, and Sandra has been talking about the new track: 'I love the song, I really want you to hear it and be able to sing it and enjoy it like I do', adding that RTVE will present Loviu on Tuesday 3 October.

The singer and actress is eleven years but has bags of experience, having participated in several talent shows and musicals, including The Bodyguard.

She comes from a family closely linked to music and has released several songs of her own, having taken part in shows such as Idol Kids and La Voz Kids.

She is currently playing the role of Mowgli from The Jungle Book in a local theater company and declares herself an unconditional fan of the Spanish singer Aitana.

Just over a month after RTVE opened the online casting, and as a sign of the growing expectation that Junior Eurovision generates in Spain, 114 entries were received, 19 more than last year. Among them, a total of 14 boys and girls were chosen to participate in the second and final phase of the selection process.

Sandra Valero has been unanimously chosen by the jury, consisting of: Ana María Bordas, César Vallejo, Miriam García Corrales, Pablo Rodríguez, Tony Sanchez-Ohlsson, Rayden and María Eizaguirre.

RTVE to build upon the top 10 placing achieved in 2022 with Carlos Higes and the song Señorita.
