Netherlands to Open, Armenia and Ukraine to Close
05 December 2022 at 17:02 CETUpdate: The full Running Order has been confirmed.
Not only is the Junior Eurovision Opening Ceremony a way for our delegations to get to meet each other and enjoy a fabulous red carpet event, it also serves a very important role as Sunday's Contest takes shape.
While the majority of the event's eventual running order is determined by the show's producers in order to create an exciting program, random draws are held in order to determine which of our participants will be opening and closing the show, as well as the running order position of our hosts Armenia.

And after those draws, we're happy to tell you that Luna from the Netherlands will be performing first, Zlata Dziunka from Ukraine will be wrapping up the show, and Armenia's Nare will be in the penultimate position, number 15.

Now that we've got that information in hand, producers from the EBU and host broadcaster AMPTV will convene to decide the rest of the show. The full running order will be released right here on junioreurovision.tv in the coming hours, so stay tuned!
