Malta looks for young stars

Some things have changed since last year. This time only one televised show will be held. It'll be broadcast on the 12th of September and a total of twenty acts will participate.

The twenty finalists are chosen on the 24th, 25th and 26th of August, so in just a little more than a month! Every singer can just perform one song, though. The songs can be in both, English and Maltese as they're both official languages of the tiny Mediterranean island.

The winner who will represent Malta in Kiev, Ukraine, will be chosen by televoters and a professional jury, like last year.

Last year Daniel Testa's Junior Swing was very successful in Lemesos, Cyprus and got the fourth place with 100 points all over Europe.
