Up until now, 53 application have been received by Armenian television. "The number of submissions is increasing every day, and usually most of them are sent within the last days before the deadline," explains Gohar Gasparyan, the Head of Delegation for Armenia. "We are looking forward to receiving more good songs so the best ones can enter the national selection, which will be held in the first half of September live on the First Channel of Armenia."
"Junior Eurvision is very popular in Armenia, so children are very excited to send their songs in for the contest" added Gohar.
