Júlia Machado to represent Portugal in Nice

The 12 year old singer lives in New Jersey and is the winner of The Voice Kids 2023.

Despite living abroad she loves her home country, Portugal, and visits with her family every summer.

In her free time she’s involved with theater and particularly enjoys singing, putting her vocals to use at the Count Basie Theater in New Jersey, and at the Portuguese Club of Long Branch. One of her favourite songs is Andorinhas by Ana Moura.

Júlia also enjoys cycling and is a keen surfer, often found at Nazaré, a beach in the centre of Portugal known for its giant waves. 

When she grows up, she wants to be a veterinarian or a singer.
