Croatia was the very first winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003. They participated five times in total.

In the first contest in Copenhagen Dino Jelusić was the winner with the song Ti Si Moja Prva Ljubav. His sister Lorena represented Croatia in 2005 in Hasselt.
