Croatia took part in the inaugural edition of Junior Eurovision back in 2003.

Broadcaster Hrvatska Radiotelevizija (HRT) enjoyed instant success when Dino Jelusić topped the scoreboard with his track Ti Si Moja Prva Ljubav (‘You Are My First Love’), becoming the Contest’s first winner.

Keeping it in the family, Dino’s sister Lorena entered the Contest in 2005 with her song Rock Baby, placing 12th.

Croatia’s last participation to date came in 2014 with the aptly titled Game Over.
