Despite the time difference with Europe, Australia’s love affair with the Eurovision Song Contest goes back several decades, having broadcast the show every year since 1983.

However, it wouldn’t be until 2015 that the Aussies would get to give their debut performance on the stage of both the grown-up Contest and Junior Eurovision!

Their best Junior results are courtesy of Isabella Clarke and Jael who both placed third in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Their overall competitive record is strong, having never finished lower than 8th on the scoreboard.
