Ukraine's Sophia Ivanko wraps up second rehearsals

The last of the second rehearsals was Ukraine's Sophia with her self-penned entry. The Spirit of Music is a song that reminds us that everyone can find their inner strength with the help of music. About her entry, Sophia says: "Music has incredible transforming power. It is a universal key to inner happiness. If any problems cause you distress, you can bring up your internal energy by singing the melody that comes from your heart."

Sophia is a singer, songwriter and artist who hopes that people will remember her after performing on stage in Gliwice. The 13-year-old has been singing since she was 4 and started her professional career at age 10. She writes her own songs and performs them solo or together with her older brother on guitar. Sophia took part in The Voice Kids where she was on Eurovision 2016 winner Jamala’s team.
