Tickets for Junior Eurovision 2016 go on sale!

Malta is hosting the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest following Destiny's victory in the competition last year with her song Not My Soul. This is the second time in three years that Maltese broadcaster PBS will arrange the contest.

Tickets for the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest can be purchased from the website of the Mediterranean Conference Centre from 10:00 CET on Wednesday 9th November 2016. There is also a hotline for further ticketing information: +356 25595750.

17 countries will compete in the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest which takes place on a Sunday for the first time. In a change to the format of the show, an expert panel will provide feedback to the artists following their performances. In another Junior Eurovision first, members of the panel will also score every act, awarding 1-8 points, then 10, and finally 12 points to their favourite. These votes will then be added to the existing scores from the adult and youth juries, creating the participant's final score.

The 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place on Sunday 20th November at 16:00 CET.
