Alisa's road to Malta

In a change from previous years, Russia decided to internally select their entrant for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Alisa, as one of the biggest young talents in Russia this year, was a very easy decision to make!

About the song

Written by Alisa along with Maxim Fedeev, “Dreamer” song about romance, finding a way to tell someone that you love them. The lyrics were co-written with Olga Seryabkina, who is no stranger to Eurovision having represented Russia as part of girl-band Serebro back in 2007. The song will be performed in both Russian and English, with the chorus lines in Russian meaning:

Like white angels

We were flying in the sky

Just wanted to touch the sky

With our wings

On stage

Alisa will perform completely alone on stage in Malta, with clever lighting making her the very centre of attention on the big stage.
