Ruslan Aslanov wins Belarusian national selection!

22 August 2015 at 00:56 CEST

Ten acts took to the stage tonight in BTRC's studios to determine who will represent Belarus at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The combined votes of a jury and the public were then used to decide the winner, resulting in Ruslan Aslanov with the song "Volshebstvo" (Magic/Sorcery) being chosen for Sofia.

For the first time in the national selection, the winner was also presented with a special trophy in the shape of a microphone.

Belarus has taken part in every Junior Eurovision since the contest was lunched in 2003 - hosting it in 2010 and winning the event twice!
