FYR Macedonia’s Martija Stanojkovic finished her second round of rehearsals today here in Valletta. On Sunday she will perform Love Will Lead Our Way (Ljubovta ne vodi).

Martija recently finished second in the talent show Pink Stars, which is popular in the Balkan region. Her wish is to win Junior Eurovision for her country for the first time. Her main message for her fans that they should love themselves as they are and to believe in themselves. Martija believes that if you really want something and put your mind to it then you will achieve your goals.

"I feel excited and I feel nervous at the same time. I’m happy, the stage is amazing and I know we will do a great job. The other performers are amazing, everybody is happy, they want to hang out with us, we want to hang out with them", said Martija

Love Will Lead Our Way (Ljubovta ne vodi) was written by Aleksandar Masevski who wrote the Macedonian entry for Junior Eurovision in 2009 performed by Sara Markoska. He also he produced and arranged the song Life, which was the Macedonian entry for the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest performed by Toše Proeski.

"I wanted to give something more mainstream to Junior Eurovision. In the last years in both Junior and the main Eurovision Song Contest there are also mainstream songs so I thought about bringing this new style to the competition". Aleksandar has fond memories of the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest; "Toše was one of the biggest singers in our country. It was a great experience for me in Istanbul. I also sang backing vocals for Toše, singing there on the stage with such a good singer and huge audience was amazing. Of course everyone wants to do well but the most important thing is the people you meet, they become your friends forever".
