Introducing 2015: Jana's Storm

06 November 2015 at 13:14 CET

About the artist

Jana Mirković is not only a singer, but she also plays the piano and the violin. She is currently a first year student at Podgorica's Gymnasium. When she's not studying, Jana attends the UMS Talent School, as well as special classes for ballet, dance, and TV journalism. The latter is no surprise, given that Jana has already hosted a children's television show in her home country. Jana has already had a lot of success in performing at international music festivals, winning several awards along the way.

In her free time, Jana likes to hang out with her friends and family, and enjoys the beautiful Montenegrin seaside and countryside. She says that she doesn't need much to be happy: only her honest smile, a flower, hearing her favorite songs on the radio or and seeing other people's happiness.

About the song

"Oluja" is a love song about a young person full of energy and strength like a storm.

There where I am
The storm from the sky
Is coming into your life
There where I am
Like a thunder from the cloud
Is passing straight through your heart.

The composer of "Oluja" is Mirsad Serhatlić, the lyrics were written by Boban Novović and Jana Mirković, while Vladimir Graić (the songwriter of the winning song of the Eurovision Song Contest 2007) did the final arrangement. On stage we will see Jana performing with four backing dancers, with Jana also joining in to the routine in many parts.
