Heads of Delegation meet in Sofia

Delegations from many of the participating countries gathered today in Sofia to lean more about this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Presentations were given on the Technical & Venue Layout, Show Content, Logistics, Security, Social Program, Voting, and the Social Media plan for during Junior Eurovision week.

Later in the afternoon, the Heads of Delegation were also taken to the Arena Armeec to see the venue for themselves, and where certain parts of the production will be - such as the dressing rooms, delegation lounge, and press facilities.

"The preparation of this enormous event is already at an advanced stage... I want to express my great pleasure that the project has involved so many young professionals from various fields. Their energy and willingness to create a unique experience for all, has really impressed me," said Director General of BNT Viara Ankova in a speech to the delegations. "We found young artists to design the trophies, and the stage costumes... as well as more than 200 young dancers and other artists on stage from Bulgaria during the show."
