Their first participant, Ula Ložar, finished a respectable 12th with Nisi Sam (Your Light).

Their second and (so far) last entry came in 2015, when Lina Kuduzović’s ballad Prva Ljubezen (‘First Love’) reached the impressive podium position of third.

Slovenia has yet to return to Junior Eurovision but they are the most successful country when it comes to Eurovision Choir, having won the inaugural competition in 2017, before finishing third in 2019.
