Israel has taken part in three Junior Eurovision contests: Amsterdam 2012, Valletta 2016 and Minsk 2018.

Their first attempt remains their most successful, when Kids.il finished 8th with Let The Music Win.

Subsequent entries from Shir & Tim and Noam Dadon placed 15th and 14th respectively.

Israel hadn’t originally intended to compete in the 2018 edition, but did so after their Eurovision Song Contest representative Netta won the grown-up competition a few months earlier with her empowerment anthem TOY.
