Estonia made their debut at Junior Eurovision in Nice in 2023.

Arhanna from the little town of Räpina was the first singer to represent her nation at the Contest, taking Hoiame Kokku (‘Let’s Stick Together’) to a respectable 15th place.

The young singer was chosen by a panel of experts at broadcaster Eesti Rahvusringhääling (ERR).

In 2024, the broadcaster opted to use the children’s talent show Tähtede Lava (‘Star Stage’) as the selection competition for the Contest.
