Three more lucky kids in Belgium!

The second heat of the Belgian selection was held this weekend, meaning two more winners passed to the final. They were selected from four acts, each performed two versions of their songs. This time the lucky semi-finalists were:

  • Margo - Vandaag Is De Dag (wonderland version)
  • Margo - Vandaag Is De Dag (fiesta latina) 
  • Thomas - Groot Zijn (dance)
  • Thomas - Groot Zijn (pop rock) 
  • Sepp 'n Sigi - Die Ene Seconde (unplugged)
  • Sepp 'n Sigi - Die Ene Seconde (soft rock) 
  • Haruka - Waar Ben Je? (Bollywood) 
  • Haruka - Waar Ben Je? (country) 

Then it was up to the jury to give their opinion and then the televoters to decide who exactly will go to the final, held on the 26th of September. So, the votes were in and Sepp 'n Sigi Hendrix's soft rock version of their Die Ene Seconde was declared to be one of the winners. The second one was Thomas Cerpentier's dance version of his Groot Zijn. Congratulations! Meet the winners below in the video:

The last heat of the Belgian selection will be broadcast next Saturday and then another week of waiting and the winner of the whole competition will be selected. The winner will represent Belgium at the seventh Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine on the 21st of November.
