Joined by his backing dancers, Rafael performed his operatic song brilliantly on the Kyiv stage. They used blocks on the stage as their props, and used them as part of the dramatic choreography.
"I feel very good. This is a very good atmosphere and I like it" says Rafael of his rehearsal. "The stage is very beautiful, very big and with many colours, it's really fun".
He has also been enjoying the company of the other entrants this year: "I talk with the other participants and we are friends".
